With a sixth Super Bowl ring on his finger, Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots should be certain about his future — and yet, the Patriots great says he's still unsure.

Rumors had been swirling for a while about the notion of “Gronk” retiring after the Super Bowl was over — regardless of whether the Patriots took home the grand prize — but, it seems, his future is still in flux.

Gronkowski stopped by Jimmy Fallon's show yesterday to talk about this very matter.

“First off, I got to see where I’m at. Right after a season, you can’t make a decision. It’s so emotional, a big win like that. You got to settle down, you got to see how your body responds.”

Gronkowski went on to say that he was so bruised up after the Super Bowl — where he temporarily left after he'd been sidelined with an injury, only to return later in the game after he'd gotten the all-clear — that he couldn't make it to Fallon's show on the original night he was scheduled to appear.

For what it's worth, there are several players that believe that “The Gronk” is ready to retire — not that he could be blamed for doing so.

There are also rumors that Rob Gronkowski is looking to move away from the world of football, and into the world of acting. He once said, specifically, that he would like to try to be an action star in Hollywood films. However, nothing has been confirmed — or denied — as of this writing, though we will certainly keep you apprised.
