The New England Patriots' dynasty is alive and well. Whether Rob Gronkowski will continue to be a part of it going forward, though, still remains to be seen.

During an appearance on ESPN's “NFL Live” on Monday, power agent Drew Rosenhaus insisted his client is still undecided on his playing future as the free agency period officially opens.

“I talked to Rob last night and he won’t even tell me,” Rosenhaus said, per ESPN's Field Yates. “He hasn’t made a decision yet…I honestly don’t know. I’m waiting to see like everybody else.”

After the Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII early last month, Gronkowski, during an on-field interview with Tracy Wolfson of CBS, seemed to suggest he was seriously considering retirement, saying winning another ring “would be a wonderful way to go out.”

He clarified his comments immediately thereafter, stressing that his ultimate decision would be made in the coming weeks. Two weeks later, Rosenhaus said on “NFL Live” that Gronkowski would decide whether or not to continue playing “in a couple weeks.”

The 29 year old threatened to retire before the 2018 season, when news broke that the Patriots were considering trading him to the Detroit Lions.

Gronkowski had 47 catches for 692 yards and three touchdowns last season, numbers well below his career norms when healthy.

He was better when it mattered most in the playoffs, though, catching a combined 12 passes for 166 yards in the Patriots' victories over the Rams and Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
