The New England Patriots are once again Super Bowl champions. Adding to the notion that Boston is the “City of Champions,” at least over the course of the last two decades, the Patriots have now won two of the last three and three of the last five Super Bowls.

Of course, the Patriots are now 6-3 in Super Bowls overall since winning the franchise's first back in 2002. Not only have the Patriots continued to succeed, though, but the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins have all won titles since New England picked up the franchise's first championship. With the Celtics winning in 2008, the Bruins in 2011 and the Red Sox several times along the way, the latter actually just won yet another World Series in 2018.

As a result of all of this joint success, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman took part in the ceremonial puck drop ahead of Bruins' Tuesday evening matchup against the New York Islanders. With heralded quarterback Tom Brady into his 40s, tight end Rob Gronkowski possibly nearing retirement and head coach Bill Belichick not getting any younger, many wondered if the Patriots could do it all again in 2018-19. Not only did New England do it again, but it appears as though the established AFC East powerhouse has forgotten how to celebrate, either.
