Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are beating up on AFC East division rivals New York Jets at home in Foxborough, pounding the Adam Gase–coached squad for 20 first-half points, including this touchdown pass to Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman.

The 42-year-old Brady found a relatively open Edelman in the end zone for the three-yard, goal line reception and score, bringing the Patriots' total to 20 points just in the second quarter against the winless Jets.

The Jets are without several key pieces on both sides of the field; second-year quarterback Sam Darnold is out with mono while rookie defensive lineman Quinnen Williams and veteran linebacker CJ Mosley, acquired in free agency this offseason, are both out for the second straight week. New York is quarterbacked on Sunday by former Tennessee Titans fifth-round pick from the 2018 draft, Luke Falk, who was also the 199th overall selection like Brady.

It's becoming more clear that the Patriots could score upwards of 50 points before the Jets even score double digits.
