Since the NFL season is over for some NFL teams, they're already starting to make the changes that would hopefully improve their performance in the long run. One of those improvements involves hiring the right coach for the job, and the New York Giants are doing so by interviewing Eric Bieniemy, the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Giants will be interviewing with one of the masterminds of the thriving Kansas City offense in the hopes that he will be the right man to lead the Giants back to relevance that has recently avoided them like the plague.

It's a no-brainer that the Giants decided to go for Bieniemy as the current iteration of the Chiefs is what the Giants aspire to become: an exciting pass-heavy offense led by a charismatic quarterback. They have the right personnel to make it happen, but a capable head coach could turn that into reality.

Bieniemy's credentials speak himself. He's only been the Chiefs' offensive coordinator for two years but, under Andy Reid, he has helped transform the team into one of the most respected offenses in the league. In 2019, the Chiefs were the sixth-best team in the league in terms of overall yards produced at 6067. They also have the fifth-best passing offense with 4,498 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Giants players like Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley will surely benefit if they have a coach like Bieniemy leading the helm. The Giants offense could be revolutionized for the better if he manages to get the job done. Should everything go according to plan, he should be the man donning the Giants headset from the sideline next year.
