It was an eventful day of practice for the New York Giants at training camp. Toward the very end of Tuesday's practice, a brawl broke out among the players after running back Corey Clement took a big hit. Evan Engram and Logan Ryan went at it, and then all hell broke loose, with quarterback Daniel Jones ending up at the bottom of the pile.
This left Giants head coach Joe Judge absolutely fuming. The coach punished his team with a bunch of sprints and pushups, all while he screamed and swore at them:
After doing 100 yard runs — and not hard enough for Joe Judge’s liking — players are now lined up on the foal line doing push ups.
There is dead silence except for Joe Judge’s whistle and his expletives. … So many expletives.

It was an absolutely wild scene, and Judge clearly didn't appreciate the tomfoolery out on the field. The Giants head coach doesn't want to see that kind of lack of discipline on his team, so he took it out on his players with this expletive-laden punishment. It probably didn't help that the team's young quarterback was in the mix, because getting injured during this kind of silliness would be brutal.
The players didn't seem too concerned by any of this:
Daniel Jones was at the bottom of the pile in the team scrum that ended practice. Why? Said he’s part of the team.
Logan Ryan said no regrets. This is a “chippy, grimy” team. He’s been on teams before that had this happen. They’ll be fine. He close with Evan Engram.

New York is coming off a disappointing 6-10 season that saw them finish second in the woeful NFC East. The Giants are hoping for Jones to make a leap at the quarterback position to get them in the playoffs.
Judge is heading into his second season as Giants head coach.
