The New York Giants are ready to make some big decisions in the front office and team roster after the 2021 NFL season is over. General manager David Gettleman will likely be the first major change, as the Giants look to garner a new voice in leadership, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network:

Gettleman has held his current position with New York since 2018, but has struggled to find the team playoff success. His first 40 games with the team led to a 10-30 record, being one of the worst starts in the league. Additionally, under his tenure, the Giants have yet to have a winning record, with the general manager's best season coming last year, when they accumulated a record of 6-10.
Having failed to miss the playoffs every season since Gettleman's arrival, along with questionable trades and draft picks, is the most likely the main reasons as to why the 70 year old is in the hot seat. Drafting quarterback Daniel Jones with the sixth pick is already in doubt by many, as the Giants missed out on other talents. Not only that, the general manager traded away fan-favorite Odell Beckham Jr. to the Browns, when the wide receiver was arguably one of their top receiving weapons.
The 2021 season has not gone much better for the Giants, as the team is 3-7 and at the bottom of the NFC East. New York recently got rid of offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, and it looks like more alterations to the team is to come.
