Rumors have been swirling about the Arizona Cardinals looking for a suitable trade partner for quarterback Josh Rosen. It appears the Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants, and Miami Dolphins have been pegged as the frontrunners to acquire his services.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding potential landing spots for Josh Rosen. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, each of the aforementioned teams could be willing to make a trade:

“The New York Giants, the Miami Dolphins, and the Los Angeles Chargers.”

The prospect of any of these teams attempting to trade for Rosen certainly makes sense. The one thing they each have in common is a lack of future stability under center. While some have a more pressing need at quarterback than others, it is not far-fetched to assume any of these teams could pull the trigger on a deal.

The Chargers and Giants have already committed to their veteran quarterbacks for the 2019 NFL season. Although Rivers is no spring chicken, he has still proven to be every bit as capable of leading his team to playoff contention.

While the same cannot be said for Manning, he has seemingly already earned the backing of the front office for this season. Both teams could be inclined to bring Rosen in to develop him into their future franchise quarterback.

The Dolphins are also desperate for some more stability under center. They managed to bring in a veteran quarterback of their own in Ryan Fitzpatrick. Regardless, it is safe to assume they are still hoping to find their future starter as soon as possible.

It will be interesting to see if any of these teams can make the Cardinals a deal they cannot refuse.
