As the offseason is set to begin, there has already been plenty of rumors circulating around the league.

Let's take a look at five players who will most likely be traded this offseason.

Last offseason, Trent Williams was reportedly unhappy on how the Redskins handled his cancer scare and demanded a trade. Williams started last season with a holdout in hopes of getting traded, however, the Redskins never secured a deal.

Williams will be making $14.75 million in 2020, which is the final year of his current deal. The 32-year-old has made seven Pro Bowls in his 9 season career. If Williams doesn't return to the team, it's most likely the Redskins will trade him this offseason.

Cam Newton will be one of the biggest names available in this year's offseason. The Panthers could ultimately move on from him this offseason after placing him on the injured reserve list with a foot injury. Kyle Allen played exceptionally well as a backup and the Panthers will most likely continue to have him as the starting QB.

Newton will be due $18.6 million next season and it's uncertain if the Panthers are willing to keep him. Newton will be turning 31 years old in May and has only had one winning season since his MVP season in 2015.  Whatever the Panthers decide to do, there will certainly be plenty of teams interested in trading for Newton.

Last March, Le'Veon Bell signed a four-year, $52.5 million contract with the New York Jets. Bell had arguably one of the worst seasons of his career as he failed to have one game with 100 yards rushing. Bell had 245 rushing attempts for 789 yards and 3 touchdowns. He averaged 3.2 yards per carry with his longest run being 19 yards.

The 27-year-old  didn't fit well on the Jets offense and could potentially move on from him after his first year. If the  Jets decide to trade him, it'll be tough since he's guaranteed $13 million guaranteed in 2020. However,  it'll be interesting to see what general manager Joe Douglas decides to do.

Jamal Adams, S, New York Jets

Jamal Adams was selected in the sixth-overall pick in the 2017 draft and is arguably one of the best safeties in the league. This past season, Adams recorded 75 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and one interception.

There have been recent reports on Adams getting a contract extension, however, nothing is certain with the Jets. In October, Adams was upset with the organization after rumors circulated around the league on him being traded. With that being said, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Jets decide to trade him if they're offered a considerable package.

Malcolm Jenkins played a phenomenal season as he recorded 81 tackles, 18 sacks, and four forced fumbles. However, Jenkins has expressed he won't be playing in 2020 without a new deal.

Jenkins will be in the final year of his five-year, $40.5 million deal next season. According to Pro Football Focus, Jenkins is ranked number 32 out of 89 players. Moreover, it will be interesting to see if the Eagles decide to extend Jenkins this offseason who was arguably their best defensive player.
