The Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas featured the superpower Alabama Crimson Tide taking on the Cincinnati Bearcats. Much of the country was pulling for the massive underdog Bearcats, but that does not include Dallas Cowboys superstars Amari Cooper and Trevon Diggs.
Both were spotted on Alabama's sideline, for obvious reasons.

Cooper is one of the more accomplished Alabama wide receivers ever. He played for the Crimson Tide from 2012 through 2014. His freshman year, Cooper had exactly 1,000 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns, as Alabama went on to win the College Football National Championship. That's a pretty fantastic freshman year. Following an injury-riddles sophomore campaign, the Cowboys star receiver put up video game numbers his junior season.
He caught 124 passes for 1,727 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns.
Trevon Diggs played at Alabama from 2016 through 2019. He actually played wide receiver in his freshman season, but did not get on the field very much. He was moved to defensive back his sophomore year and didn't look back. His senior season he came into his own, finishing with 37 tackles, three interceptions, one of which he took back for a score.
Diggs is having an outstanding year for the Cowboys. He leads the NFL with 11 interceptions. That's four more than the 2nd most, New England Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson with seven.
Diggs' play has garnered attention around the league as the Cowboys have been propelled forward by their defense for a change. Diggs is in the conversation for Defensive Player of the Year.
Cooper, Diggs and the Cowboys play host to the Arizona Cardinals Sunday in a massive game for both teams.
