Throughout much of the 2018 season, the center of focus around Oklahoma Sooners standout quarterback Kyler Murray has been in his interest in entering the NFL.

Murray has continued to voice that the plan is to play baseball once the 2018 campaign comes to a close as he's under contract with the Oakland Athletics. However, he did indicate on Thursday that playing in the NFL is still an option for him to consider, according to Alex Scarborough of ESPN.

“It's never bad to have options,” Murray said Thursday, “but right now my main focus is this game.”

The constant question thrown in Murray's direction concerning his football future has only grown louder after he secured the 2018 Heisman Trophy award after an impressive campaign. Murray has proven to be a high-impact player on the field behind his dual-threat ability as both a passer and runner.

His ability to be a game-changing talent with his legs by utilizing his speed could allow him to find success at the next level. At the same time, there are concerns about whether his height at 5-foot-10 would be a disadvantage for him to play the position in the NFL.

Nonetheless, this is a situation that Murray hasn't thought much yet. He has a $4.66 million contract with the Oakland A's in hand that he signed last summer that will play a tremendous factor in whatever he decides to do. For the time being, his focus is directly on the college football playoff semifinal game on Saturday against the defending champion Alabama Crimson Tide.
