Antonio Brown evidently forgot about former (albeit short-lived) New England Patriots teammate Tom Brady, because he has proclaimed himself the greatest sixth-round pick in NFL history. Brown tweeted out a picture of his draft card from the 2010 draft and added the caption “best 6 rounder of all time.”

Brown was taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 195th overall pick (a pick they got from the Arizona Cardinals.) There is no doubt that Brown is one of the best players to come out of the 6th round, but he hasn't come close to reaching the status of Brady, especially with his off-the-field issues.

Brown was accused of sexual assault by a former trainer. The NFL has an open investigation surrounding Brown, and it's unclear how much longer it will take to complete. He could be facing a lengthy suspension if they do find he violated the personal conduct policy. He is currently not suspended by the league, but if an NFL team were to sign him now, he would probably be placed on the commissioner's exempt list.

It seems every day Brown is in the news for saying something crazy on social media. At this point it could be a marketing strategy for him to make sure no one forgets about him.

The best thing for Brown might be to let the investigation play out while he stays quiet and out of the news. Being in the news every day saying crazy things is not helping his case with finding a new team.
