Former LSU Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow was excited to compete with his teammates one more time during his Pro Day. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, he's disappointed he isn't able to get that chance.

Burrow said he missed his guys, and this pro day is a missed opportunity for many guys. For Burrow, it was probably a matter of going through the motions as he is expected to be the number one overall pick. But for others, this was an ultra-important day.

For players not invited to the combine, this was a chance for scouts to get all their measurements on players. It is also a chance to get in front of the scouts one last time before the draft.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said he is not worried about the lack of pro day for Burrow because most of the evaluation for quarterbacks comes from the field.

“Really, the No. 1 evaluation tool is always the regular-season tape, especially with quarterbacks,” Taylor told ESPN Bengals reporter Ben Baby. “We watched all that as much as we could with all these quarterbacks that are options there. Again, it’s just one box you don’t get to check off. But I think we’re comfortable making any decision that we make without having seen all these guys throw live.”

There have been some rumblings that the Miami Dolphins could try to make a trade for the number one overall pick, but no matter who is drafting in that slot, it's hard to imagine that Burrow is going to be available after the first pick.
