Running back Le'Veon Bell is going to be one of the most sought after free agents on the open market next week, and he is already trying to communicate with fellow free agents to see where they land.

Oddly enough, the four players Bell reached out to were all safeties: Landon Collins, Earl Thomas, Tyrann Mathieu, and Eric Weddle.
Bell sat out the entire 2018 campaign due to a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also held out through Week 1 in 2017 before returning and rushing for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns while hauling in 85 receptions for 655 yards and a couple of scores en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.
Article Continues BelowThe 27-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Michigan State University, was originally selected by the Steelers in the second round (48th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.
He had a quiet rookie campaign, registering 860 yards and eight touchdowns, but the following year, Bell broke out, racking up 1,361 yards and eight scores on the ground while also catching 83 passes for 854 yards and three touchdowns, earning his first trip to Honolulu and First-Team All-Pro honors.
Le'Veon Bell then played in just six games in 2015 mainly due to a suspension, but in 2016, he bounced back to total 1,268 yards while reaching the end zone seven times as a rusher. In addition, he snared 75 balls for 616 yards and a couple of touchdowns, making yet another Pro Bowl.
The Reynoldsburg, Oh. native is said to be seeking a contract worth $17 million annually, so whomever wants him will have to pay up.
