The New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 on Sunday, winning an unprecedented third Super Bowl in five seasons.

Their most difficult game en route to another ring came two weeks ago, when the Patriots needed overtime to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 38-31 at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Patriots, Chiefs, Rams, and Saints were a cut above the rest of the league all season long in 2018.

It was hardly a surprise when they emerged as the last four teams standing in the postseason, and just as unsurprising when each conference title game came down to overtime.

Are we in for more chalk come next year's playoffs?

The odds-makers certainly seem to think so.
