Many feel that University of Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray will struggle in the NFL due to his lack of height. After all, he stands just 5-foot-11. However, Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley does not think Murray's small stature will be a detriment to him on the professional level:

“I think once Kyler starts playing, just like Baker, it won't be a factor at all,” Riley said on SiriuxXM NFL Radio.

One thing is for sure: Murray is a phenomenal athlete, so incredible that he was also actually drafted in the first round by the Oakland Athletics.

But, despite many saying that Murray should play baseball, the signal-caller appears to be leaning toward football with the NFL Draft looming in a couple of months.

Murray is coming off of a spectacular junior campaign with the Sooners in which he threw for 4,361 yards, 42 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while completing 69 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 199.2.

In addition, Murray carried the ball 140 times for 1,001 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground, averaging 7.2 yards per carry.

The 21-year-old actually began his collegiate career at Texas A&M in 2015 but threw for just 686 yards, five touchdowns, and seven picks before transferring to Oklahoma.

Murray barely played in his first season with the Sooners, finishing with 359 yards and three touchdowns while completing 18 of his 21 passes.

In a draft class that also includes more traditional pocket passers such as Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins and Duke's Daniel Jones, Murray is seen as a bit of a wild card.
