Just like the rest of the NFL world, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in awe of George defensive tackle Jordan Davis after his 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine.

Well, who wouldn't be impressed with the 22-year-old DT? The 6-foot-6, 341-pound Davis recorded an official time of 4.78 seconds in the 40. According to Pro Football Talk, that is the fastest 40-yard dash ever in the Combine for a player that size. Only Dontari Poe comes close to that, as the 346-pound juggernaut ran the 40 in 4.89 seconds during the 2012 Combine.

Heck, Davis was even faster than Patrick Mahomes (but you shouldn't tell him that).

Upon seeing Davis' record, The Rock couldn't help but show his amazement to the youngster and even shared the best explanation for those who don't understand how good it is. As he put it, a 4.80-second time in the 40-yard dash is already fast, but doing so while being 340 pounds-plus is “holy shit fast.”

“Great run big man, can’t wait to see you wreak havoc!!” Johnson furthered as he showed his support to the NFL prospect.

Certainly, Jordan Davis just increased his stock even more with that display of insane speed. He is already projected to be drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and it won't be surprising to see him climb the boards as teams look for a run-stopper who is not only ready for the pros, but also capable of making making a huge impact during games.

In the latest Mock Draft at NFL.com–which was made prior to the Scouting Combine–Davis is predicted to be drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders at no. 22. However, as mentioned, there could be teams looking to get him earlier after his recent performance.

Taking a run-stopper early in the draft isn't sexy, but Davis is a true difference-maker at the point of attack. The mammoth defensive tackle could single-handedly neutralize opposing ground games and create more pass-rush opportunities for Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue.

It remains to be seen where Davis will end up, but there's no doubt the Bulldogs standout has the attention of The Rock and the rest of the NFL.
