This year for the Super Bowl, there is a solid lineup of musical guests for the halftime show.  This includes the headliner Maroon 5, as well as Travis Scott and Big Boi.

These artists will join a long list of musical guests that have been invited to perform at the most watched television event of the year. The past five headliners have been Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Coldplay with Beyonce, Katy Perry, and then the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's one of the most prestigious performances to be invited to.

It remains to be seen who these performers will bring out. Apparently, Christina Aguilera, per BetOnline prop bets, is one of the top people assumed to be part of the set. Andre 3000, the other half of Big Boi's OutKast, is also likely to join. These artists generally do an excellent job setting up these performances.

Super Bowl 53 will be played this upcoming Sunday. It kicks off at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. The game usually starts a half hour after its starting time. The national anthem and the rest of the pregame festivities usually run overtime a bit.

The New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams will be facing off for the championship crown.
