Philadelphia's defense has come alive lately, which has given the Eagles life late in the season. They shut down the Giants, proving they're one of the NFL's elite defenses. If they can continue this streak, this will be a dangerous team to face in the first round of the playoffs.
As for the offense, the Eagles have picked up their play in the back half of the season. Philadelphia's rushing attack has been one of the league's best this year. Nobody has been able to slow it down, which bodes well for their postseason hopes. Additionally, Jalen Hurts has taken his talents to a new level, proving he's a franchise quarterback.

3. Eagles defense is legit
The defense has been on fire lately as they've allowed under 20 points in their last four contests. With the Eagles currently on a three-game win streak, Philadelphia has become a legitimate threat in the NFC. If the defense can continue its stellar play, they'll be a tough out in the postseason.
After shutting down the Giants, the Eagles aim to do the same to the Washington Football Team in their next game. Considering how bad Washington has been, this is a matchup Philadelphia looks forward to exploiting. Look for Darius Slay to lead his team to another big win.

2. The rushing attack is elite
Although Miles Sanders fell to injury, the Eagles rushing attack is still one of the best in the league. Hopefully, Sanders is able to bounce back sooner, rather than later, as he'll be needed for their playoff push.
Even so, Philadelphia has been successful with their running back room. Boston Scott continues to be a consistent source of production while Kenneth Gainwell has flashed his potential. The Eagles run game is one of the best, regardless of who is lined up in the backfield. For that reason, we should see them continue to successfully utilize the run as they're close to clinching a playoff spot.
1. Jalen Hurts is the real deal
It's been a controversial topic, as Jalen Hurts' career outlook was a bit murky in Philadelphia. However, he's played exceptionally well this year. So much so, the Eagles are likely to keep him around as their starting quarterback moving forward. Hurts has some serious talent and Philadelphia's patience seems to be paying off.
Normally, Hurts helps out with the rushing attack, but he was more of a pocket passer for the Eagles on Sunday. He's stepped up his game recently, which bodes well for Philadelphia's outlook as a franchise in general. Look for Hurts to potentially lead his team to the playoffs, as they hold their own destiny in their hands.
