A.J. Brown signed a new $100 million contract when he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles on draft night. He already seems to be putting some of it to use. A pair of star wide receivers — Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins and DK Metcalf of the Seattle Seahawks — are in a dispute over who is faster. Metcalf told Shannon Sharpe that he was faster but Hill claimed that Metcalf previously ducked the challenge.

Hill suggests that they have a race for charity. Brown offered to bet $50,000 on Metcalf to win. The Eagles receiver then claimed he would actually place a wager of a much smaller amount.

It would be difficult to imagine anybody in the NFL defeating Hill in a foot race but the Eagles' new wideout suggests that Metcalf could do so. Brown is pretty fast himself, though he may not be able to hang with the best speedsters in the NFL. Philadelphia certainly doesn't mind, though. Brown is still a fantastic wide receiver that can elevate their offense.

Brown joins the Eagles after a contract dispute with the Tennesee Titans. He will team up with Jalen Hurts and Devonta Smith as Philly looks to build around their offense. After years of dealing with poor wideouts, the Eagles have two studs for their young quarterback to throw to.
