Early Wednesday morning came the report of NFL cornerback Richard Sherman being booked and arrested with domestic violence charges. Then came the report of Sherman apparently being involved in a hit-and-run incident as questions swirl about his career in the NFL.
Well, Sherman's wife, Ashley Moss, responded in a statement with Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.
“My kids were not harmed in the incident. He’s a good person and this is not his character. We’re doing all right, just trying to get him out. I want people to know no one was injured.”
Moss added, “At this time we’re going to make no statements, except he didn’t harm anybody.” The report regarding the hit and run was also interesting, although Moss didn't discuss that aspect of things.
Washington State Police also are investigating Richard Sherman in connection to a hit and run, and damage to state Department of Transportation property. State police say that at about 1:00 a.m. PT, they received a report of a single-car incident. A car struck a concrete barrier

Nobody exactly knows although the report didn't sound good for Sherman's side of things. Sherman is a free agent and has been searching for an NFL team, but any type of further legal issues regarding this could seriously affect his opportunities.
