Among the flurry of news in the NFL on Monday, the Seattle Seahawks discovered they'll be without Damontre Moore for over a month.
The NFL released a statement on Moore violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances:
STATEMENT BY AN NFL SPOKESPERSON:
Damontre Moore has been suspended six games without pay for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. Moore will be eligible to return to the active roster on Mon., Dec. 14, following the team’s Week 14 game vs. the N.Y. Jets.— Seahawks PR (@seahawksPR) November 2, 2020

Moore has played an average of 31 percent of Seattle's defensive snaps this season as a reserve. During Sunday's win over the San Francisco 49ers, Moore logged 31 percent of the snaps, tallying two tackles and a quarterback hit.
Due to his suspension on Monday, Moore won't be able to return to the team until Dec. 14 at the earliest. Provided that, he could return to the Seahawks after they face the New York Jets in Week 14.
Throughout the season, Seattle has struggled to create pressure on the defensive side of the ball. While Moore will be suspended, the Seahawks will be getting veteran Carlos Dunlap to help boost the defense as soon as Week 9.
Dunlap was acquired by the Seahawks via trade from the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of Seattle's Week 8 bout with the 49ers.
The Seahawks improved to 6-1 on the season with their 37-27 victory over the 49ers.
