The Seattle Seahawks were one of many teams that were wheeling and dealing their picks throughout last night’s first round of the draft. The one player they did end up taking, L.J. Collier, seems ready to go ready, which should be music to Seahawks fans ears.

According to the News Tribune’s Gregg Bell, Collier told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that his plan for rushing opposing teams is pretty simple. “I’m going to get in your face and kick your ass the whole game. It’s that simple, really,” he said.

That statement alone should be music to fan's ears, as it seems Collier is already taking no prisoners when it comes to his approach at the line of scrimmage. The Seahawks took Collier with the #29 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, so they’ll certainly be looking for him to be a big playmaker int he next season, especially with the loss of franchise pass rusher Frank Clark.

As one of the teams with the lowest amount of draft picks entering the night, the Seahawks did make a ton of moves last night. After getting extra picks in the Frank Clark trade with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seahawks also traded through the first round of the NFL Draft with the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts.

After they came into the draft with just four picks, the Seahawks ended the first night with nine total picks, a huge improvement that should leave them in a great position to possibly add some extra playmakers in the next couple of days.
