Russell Wilson put forth a brilliant performance during the Seattle Seahawks' win over the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, completing 17 of his 23 passes for 268 yards and four touchdowns.

Afterward, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll heaped praised upon his quarterback for his outing.

“He was spectacular. I don’t remember him being that on in a game,” said Carroll, according to Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune.

It was the latest outstanding game in what has been a season full of them for Wilson, as he has thrown for 1,409 yards and 12 touchdowns with no interceptions while completing 73.1 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 126.3 through five games.

Most importantly, Seattle has gotten off to a 4-1 start, which has vaulted Wilson into the early-season MVP conversation.

Wilson is coming off of back-to-back Pro Bowl appearances, most recently finishing with 3,448 yards, 35 touchdowns, and seven picks while completing 65.6 percent of his throws and registering a passer rating of 110.9 in 2018.
