The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Round on Saturday night after a strange season that featured a lot of ups and downs.
Ultimately, the Seahawks won 10 games and captured a Wild Card berth, but not without a lot of bumps and hiccups along the way, and Pro Football Focus' grades for Seattle reflect that.

Not sure there is a team in the league with that much balance on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, which is somewhat unusual for the Seahawks, a club we have become accustomed to seeing win with a dominant defensive unit.
But, gone are the days of Richard Sherman and Legion of Boom.

The Seahawks got out to a 4-5 start this season, but behind inspired play from quarterback Russell Wilson, they proceeded to win six of their next seven games to secure a playoff spot.
So, Seattle does have the “hot team entering the playoffs” thing on its side, but then so do the Cowboys, whom they will be battling this weekend.
The Seahawks are returning to the postseason after a one-year hiatus last season. Prior to 2017, Seattle had made five consecutive playoff appearances, including back-to-back trips to the Super Bowl in 2013-14 and 2014-15. In the former year, the Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos to capture a Super Bowl title.
