The Los Angeles Lakers have made the big splash addition this offseason in free agency with the agreed upon four-year, $154 million deal with All-Star forward LeBron James. This has led to a tremendous amount of responses from professional athletes about the huge move out west for James for the first time in his illustrious career. Among those responses came from Pittsburgh Steelers emerging star wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Smith-Schuster has been quite vocal about his admiration for the four-time NBA MVP that he had even gone on his own little campaign to push James to make the jump to the NFL to sign with the Steelers. This clearly didn't go anywhere as it was one of the many social media ploys that the second-year wideout has put forth over the last several months.
Nonetheless, this is a monumental move for the Lakers by adding arguably the best player in the league that should immediately help turn around the franchise from the longest playoff drought in franchise history in the last five seasons. James steps in as the driving force to what Los Angeles is hoping is a title contending team being built over the next couple of years.
Beyond that, it brings the Lakers back to relevancy in the NBA, which is something that they haven't had in quite some time. James is the biggest star in the league that should attract plenty of attention in one of the country's biggest markets on a nightly basis. The fact that professional athletes in other sports are chiming in on this move speaks to how big of a deal this truly is.
