Just a few months ago, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said he wasn't interested in adding wideout Antonio Brown despite AB's rapport with quarterback Tom Brady.

When you talk to Arians now, though, the 68-year-old has a completely different tune on Brown, who will make his Buccaneers debut in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints.

So, what changed with Arians on the Brown front? The Buccaneers coach talked to Lisa Salters of ESPN about it, via Pro Football Talk:

“We were real healthy a couple of months ago, and the injuries we’ve gone through with our receiver corps, we just needed some insurance,” Bruce Arians said.

“And when you’re losing Pro Bowl players, very seldom can you ever replace them with one, and somebody that I think’s gonna buy in and adapt to what we wanna do. So we pulled the trigger, and we’re kind of excited about it.”

Antonio Brown and Tom Brady played one game together on the New England Patriots last season and even connected on a touchdown pass.

The Patriots, however, released the former superstar wide receiver due to his off the field issues.

If he can keep his head on a swivel in Tampa Bay, Brown could be a great addition to a Buccaneers team that is clicking on all cylinders on offense with Brady leading the way. It's going to be interesting to see if AB can behave with the Bucs and re-establish himself as a star player in the NFL.

Arians, for what it's worth, has already said Brown will be cut the second he acts out.
