Tom Brady is still at the highest level of football even at age 44 because he takes good care of his body. But even the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was not able to evade COVID-19, which he admits he contracted just after the team had its Super Bowl 55 parade, as reported by Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

Brady is vaccinated, as is the entire Buccaneers team, but he knows that the threat of the virus is always out there and that it's something that can't be ignored.

“And I think it’s going to be challenging this year,” he continued. “I actually think it’s going to play more of a factor this year than last year, just because of the way what we’re doing now and what the stadium is going to look like and what the travel is going to look like and the people in the building and the fans.

If anything, at least Brady seems healthy and ready to go for another NFL season.

Not even COVID-19 could stop the Buccaneers star from starting under center when Tampa Bay takes on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 of the NFL regular season.
