A Brady-led team hasn't posted 50 points since Week 3 of the 2015 season when Brady and the New England Patriots scored 51 points in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Buccaneers' offense certainly has the potential to post 50 points, though, as it has come within five points of the mark twice so far this season and three times last season.
Article Continues BelowWith wide receivers Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, running backs Leonard Fournette and Ronals Jones II, tight ends Cameron Brate, O.J. Howard and Rob Gronkowski and a rock-solid offensive line, it's incredibly difficult to contain this offense, which ranks third in the league in points per game.
Brady is leading the NFL in completions, passing attempts and touchdown passes through seven games. He was first in passing yards before Kyler Murray passed him on Thursday Night Football. Even with the extra game, the 24-year-old Murray only leads the 44-year-old Brady by a single yard.
Tampa Bay is 6-1 entering their Week 8 contest with the New Orleans Saints. They'll have to try for 50 points again without Brown, who was ruled out with an ankle injury for the second straight week.
