Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are headed home–and with a trip to the Super Bowl!

In a wild back-and-forth NFC title game between Aaron Rodgers and Brady, the Buccaneers somehow held off the Green Packers each step of the way in a 31-26 victory at Lambeau Field.

The Buccaneers will be going to their first Super Bowl since 2003, and the 10th overall trip for Brady.

Tampa Bay won three straight road games, at Washington, New Orleans, and Green Bay, and will now be heading for a home game. After all, this year's Super Bowl will be held at Raymond James Stadium.

This year will mark the first time ever that a team will play in the Super Bowl in their home stadium, and the Buccaneers will either play the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs or the upstart Buffalo Bills.

Tampa Bay had a 21-10 lead at the half and extended their lead to 28-10 at the start of the third quarter after an Aaron Jones fumble led to a Cameron Brate touchdown reception.

Rodgers and the Packers scored back-to-back touchdowns to make it a 28-23 game with a quarter remaining. However, Ryan Succop knocked a 46-yard field goal to give the Buccaneers a 31-23 lead with a little more than four minutes left.

Rodgers drove the Packers down the field, but on 4th and goal, Matt LaFleur surprisingly decided to kick the field goal and put the game on the shoulder of the Packers defense. As the saying goes, the rest was history.

The game was sealed as Tom Brady pitched the ball to wide receiver Chris Godwin, and he got the first down to essentially seal the contest as the clock ran down.

Brady didn't play his best football, finishing with 280 yards to go with three touchdowns and three interceptions–all three of which came in the second half.

Nonetheless, Brady is once again headed to the Super Bowl, and the Buccaneers will sure be happy to finally have a home playoff game.
