Antonio Brown is arguably the best wide receiver left on the market for the 2022 NFL Free Agency. The star recently opened up about his ankle injury from this past season and told TMZ that he isn't planning on having surgery unless he finds commitment from a team.

“I need to get my ankle fixed, but I just want to make sure I got an obligation or a commitment from a team. It's a lot for a guy to go do surgery without an idea of where you gonna work, or who you going to work for,” Brown said, all quotes courtesy of TMZ.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star became an NFL free agent earlier than expected, following his premature exit in the team's Week 17 game against the New York Jets.

The shirtless, show-stopping exit publicized the bad blood brewing between AB and longtime NFL coach Bruce Arians. Brown told TMZ that he doesn't expect to rekindle any relationship with the Buccaneers this offseason.

“I don't think that's a possibility…How things were handled. How I was handled in regards to the injury. [They] just weren't able to use me for my value. My true value.”

However, Brown said all of this before Arians announced his retirement from coaching in the NFL. The team is under new leadership with Todd Bowles as the head coach, a plot that could open a door for AB's return to Tampa Bay.
