Derrick Henry's thing is making it into the record books. Heading into the Tennessee Titans' eventual divisional round win over the Baltimore Ravens, the presumption was that he'd do something historically significant. It turns out, he did a lot of those things, including one many did not expect.

In the Titans' upset win, Henry tossed a three-yard pass to Corey Davis. According to John Glennon of The Athletic, the touchdown was the first to be thrown by a running back in an NFL postseason game since Minnesota Vikings' Allen Rice against the New Orleans Saints on Jan. 3, 1988.

Henry's touchdown toss came in the third quarter of the Titans' upset win.

Three plays before, Henry dashed for a 66-yard gain to set up the trick play score.

“We had to get it over the defense to give Corey a chance, and I put it perfect, man,” Henry said (h/t AL.com). “I haven’t done that pass since high school. I feel like I still got it.”

The Titans RB tallied 195 rushing yards against Baltimore. He ran for 182 against the New England Patriots in the week before and 211 against the Houston Texans in the season finale. For the former Heisman Trophy winner, the stats don't matter.

“You probably don’t believe it, but I’m more happy we won,” Henry said. “Stats and all that stuff is good, but we got the win, and we’re advancing. That’s the most important thing.”

Led by Henry, the sixth seed Titans are moving on to the AFC Championship. They will face either the Houston Texans or Kansas City Chiefs in an away game.
