The details of Aaron Rodgers' new massive deal with the Green Bay Packers are flooding the internet and confusing casual fans everywhere.
While he's locked and loaded for the upcoming season with his playing status settled, you never know what the future holds for Aaron Rodgers beyond that.
But there's one interesting wrinkle in his contract that points to a likelihood that Aaron Rodgers is sticking around in Green Bay at least up to the 2023 NFL season.

That's a massive figure looming over the Packers' salary cap situation for them to just leave up to chance, or even more erratic, the whims of Aaron Rodgers.
More than likely there's a common understanding between both parties that, at the very least, Rodgers sticks around for two more years, if not more. That's undoubtedly the agreement they needed Aaron Rodgers to make with them discreetly for them to be comfortable with doling out the dollar figures that they did.
