The Green Bay Packers are back in the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2016. They enjoyed a first-round bye for the first time since 2014.

Though some were around during those playoff runs, most aren't. The head coach, the roster, and even the Packers front office is different. The quarterback, however, is not. Aaron Rodgers is back in the postseason. He also has advice on how those less-experienced postseason players can win on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Poise,” Rodgers told the team's official website when asked for his best piece of playoff advice. “I think it’s important to find that calm in your mind in these games because it seems so much bigger. Obviously, it’s more important, because it’s win or go home. The first 16 of the season aren’t like that. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to keep your poise and stay calm and find that relaxed-flow state in the game. The team that does it quicker and sustains it is usually the team that wins.”

Poise is a good word. Character is a more broad one. One that Rodgers feels defines his current Packers squad. If they win it all, it's because of it, he says.

“I’ve been saying it for a while, but it’s character,” Rodgers said. “We’re a high character group. We know how to win. We’ve made great plays in clutch situations in important games to win. If we’re lifting that Lombardi Trophy in less than a month, it’s because of character wins in the fourth quarter, and it starts this week.”

My advice on how to win a Super Bowl: win every playoff game and don't lose any of them.
