Green Bay Packers veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers may have remained quiet during the offseason, but dating rumors have recently brought his name back to the spotlight. After two years, the two-time NFL Most Valuable Player has reportedly parted ways with racecar driver Danica Patrick.
After the split, Rodgers is now being linked to actress Shailene Woodley after the two were seen spending time together in Lake Tahoe last weekend. Rodgers recently participated in the American Century Championship golf tournament together with fellow NFL players and a handful of notable celebrities.
According to Terez Owens, which got the information from an anonymous tipster, Patrick is the one who introduced Rodgers to Woodley, and Danica is reportedly “devastated by Aaron’s betrayal.”
This was not the first time that Aaron Rodgers was involved in dating rumors. He also dated actress Olivia Munn for a long time and family drama was rumored to be the main cause of the couple's split.
Meanwhile, on the field, Rodgers' role on the Packers is still undetermined as the team made an odd move to draft Utah State quarterback Jordan Love with the 26th pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The move was reminiscent of the Packers' move when they drafted Rodgers with the 24th overall pick of the 2005 NFL Draft to replace long-time quarterback Brett Favre.
Whether it will be with the Packers or another team, Rodgers will continue to aim for another shot at a Super Bowl appearance before hanging up his cleats for good.
