The Green Bay Packers are coming off a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9. It seems quarterback Aaron Rodgers has an idea of what his team needs to do to get back into the win column this time around.

The Packers came out flat and were never able to find their rhythm in Los Angeles. Rodgers is hoping that his team can come out with some more energy, via IKE Packers:

There is certainly plenty of truth to Rodgers' comments. Green Bay was coming off back-to-back strong performances before their abysmal outing in Los Angeles. His comments indicate that it was simply one of those games that the team did not show up for.

The Packers' underwhelming performance could be attributed to the fact that teams are at that point in the 2019 NFL season where rest becomes crucial. Fortunately, they are finally slated to enjoy their bye week once they finish up at home against the Panthers. Of course, they will need to do what they can to ensure they go into the extra week of rest on a high note.

Green Bay cannot afford another sluggish outing if they hope to get back into the win column against Carolina. Running back Christian McCaffrey is in the midst of an MVP-caliber campaign and has shown no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Rodgers must be fully prepared to engage in a potential shootout if the situation calls for it in Week 10. He will be relying heavily on his teammates to help him do it.
