The Green Bay Packers released their lengthy injury report for Week 6 and one notable name made a surprising appearance on it. As the team prepares for their game on Monday night, Aaron Rodgers was limited in practice on Thursday with a knee injury.

The Packers are currently riddled with injuries, with 20 players managing to etch their name on the injury report. Among them, everyone will be paying close attention to Rodgers as the week progresses.

Considering that the two-time MVP was able to practice in a limited fashion, his injury isn't expected to be anything serious. However, as most know, Rodgers dealt with an injury to his knee during the 2018 season.

Last year, the Packers longtime signal-caller sustained a knee injury in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears. The injury required him to be carted off to the locker room before halftime.

Miraculously, Rodgers was able to return in the second half of the game and lead a comeback to defeat the Bears. After the game, it was discovered that Rodgers was playing through a tibial plateau fracture throughout the season.

Now, this season, the Super Bowl winning quarterback has been able to remain healthy in an offense that is run-oriented. In his first five games in Matt LaFleur's offense, Rodgers has thrown for 1,307 yards and just six touchdowns.

With the Packers being 4-1 in a crowded NFC North, Green Bay will need Rodgers to be healthy for Monday night's contest against the Detroit Lions. The Lions are in second place behind the Packers with a 2-1-1 record.

Aside from Rodgers, the Packers are also dealing with injuries to Davante Adams and Darnell Savage. Unlike Rodgers, the other two are expected to miss Week 6.
