Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre has nothing but respect and admiration for Aaron Rodgers, who recently tied his record for the most touchdown passes in franchise history.

Favre, who immediately congratulated Rodgers after he reached the 442-passing touchdown mark on Sunday, made an appearance on the SiriusXM NFL Radio on Monday where he continued his massive praise of the Packers superstar quarterback. He even went as far as to calling him the GOAT when it comes to playmaking.

“Probably, the best playmaker that I think we have ever seen,” the Hall of Fame signal-caller said of Rodgers.

While there might be some arguments with Brett Favre's claim, especially with Tom Brady establishing himself as one of the better quarterbacks of this generation, the praise on Aaron Rodgers certainly isn't without merit.

Here is a player who has achieved everything in football: a one-time Super Bowl champion, a three-time league MVP, an offensive maestro and a sure-fire Hall of Famer when he decides to call it a career.

This 2021 season, at the age of 38, he also continues to dominate the playing field with his consistent play. Rodgers has powered the Packers to a league-best 11-3 record on the season, and by the looks of it, there's no stopping him and Green Bay from winning their remaining matches.

Rodgers has catapulted himself in the MVP conversation once again, and all the COVID-19 vaccine issues and toe injury aside, he has undoubtedly made a strong case for himself.
