The Green Bay Packers are working this offseason to ensure that Aaron Rodgers stays with the team. Meanwhile, he is chasing a high salary and is open to offers outside of Green Bay.

While it isn't basketball related, NBA legend Charles Barkley has a lot of thoughts when it comes to the Packers and Rodgers situation. He made an appearance on the Waddle & Silvy Show and was asked about Rodgers' offseason antics. Barkley had a lot to say on the topic, all quotes courtesy of Sports Mockery.

“I think he's the pretty girl that you gotta tell her she's pretty every day. I'm starting to think that. I'm starting to think he's that girl like, ‘Oh, I don't look good today?' Like, I told you five days in a row you good. I gotta tell you every day, apparently…so I'm starting to wonder,” Barkley said, completely roasting the Packers quarterback.

In short, the NBA legend said that Rodgers is a “pick me” guy who constantly needs reassurance and attention. He continued to bash the quarterback, next targeting his hunger for a big paycheck. He indirectly called Rodgers and many other quarterbacks “greedy pigs.”

“Why are they such greedy pigs? Every quarterback who's gotten big money never won again (a Super Bowl) again,” Barkley said. He listed Joe Flacco, Russell Wilson, and Drew Brees as three examples.

He finished the rant with a question that only the quarterbacks themselves have the answer to. “Why don't these guys take less money like Tom Brady so you can pay other players?”

Whether Rodgers will stick with the Packers, find a new place of employment, or retire…only time will tell.
