Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams missed the final two Packers drives during their Thursday Night Football loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The star receiver went down with an injury, and after revealing it to be a turf toe injury, has yet to practice. According to Packers head coach Matt Lafleur, Adams is “day to day” this week.

With the team officially back on the practice field after a couple of days off last week, a handful of Packers players are all not practicing this week, including Adams.

When it comes to the injury, early reports seem to indicate that the issue won’t be that serious, and that if Adams is forced to miss any time, it won’t be much.

Of course, the Packers have a big matchup coming up next week, as they’ll play against the Dallas Cowboys in a matchup of two NFC powerhouses looking to bounce back after losses. Adams had a huge game against the Eagles, piling up 10 catches for 180 yards, and his chemistry with Aaron Rodgers and skill make him a key piece in the team winning games.

As for the rest of the Packers, they’ll look to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Eagles that saw their defense quick up a ton of rushing yards once again.

With a big test against the Cowboys coming up, the Packers will look to right the ship, and if Adams can’t play, they’ll be at a big disadvantage when the team arrives in Dallas on Sunday.
