The Green Bay Packers have started to make moves this offseason, locking up guard Justin McCray to an exclusive rights deal, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

The Packers will tender G Justin McCray, an exclusive rights free agent, a source said. It's a one-year, $645,000 deal that would get McCray to restricted free agency status next offseason. Other Packers ERFAs include: WR Jake Kumerow, TE Robert Tonyan, G Lucas Patrick, OLB Reggie Gilbert, DT Fadol Brown.

This agreement will pay McCray $645,000 this year, and then he will be a restricted free agent after this upcoming season is completed.

McCray is an undrafted free agent that signed with the Packers in 2017. Over the last two seasons, he has appeared in 25 games with 13 being starts. McCray has become a valuable part of the Packers offensive line not just because of his play, but also his ability to play multiple positions.

McCray might not be ever a great starter or a guy that can be heavily leaned on to play all the snaps in a season, but he is a guy that can fill in at all the positions along the line, and a guy that the Packers want on their squad.

Even with the re-signing of McCray look for the team to be super active trying to improve the offensive line and keep Aaron Rodgers upright.

No matter who the Packers sign, look for McCray to be a solid backup that can step up if someone goes down with an injury and if that's the role he can play, the line will be in good shape.
