The Aaron Rodgers saga has no end in sight, but former Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones is adding insight on the situation by acting as something of a go-between for Rodgers and the media. Jones has been in communication with Rodgers and is then doing media hits to talk about everything.

Jones' messaging on the matter has been somewhat mixed, though. He recently insisted this situation is totally fixable, Rodgers will be at training camp and the relationship with Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst isn't that bad. Most recently, Jones admitted complications in the situation after Packers CEO Mark Murphy claimed Rodgers is a “complicated fella.”

While admitting the complications, Jones is still telling everybody that everything will be fine and people should chill:

Does this clear up the situation at all? No, not really! It's clear there's still some beef here, and it's not totally clear how it can be fixed. Jones is both saying it's definitely complicated while insisting this Packers situation isn't too bad and people should relax.

PFT's Mike Florio suggests Jones could be used as a broker to mediate this relationship and help the two sides come to a truce. Florio even throws out there that this is what Rodgers is hoping for as this situation plays out. Jones supposedly has good relationships with both Packers parties, so perhaps the can have the magic touch here.

Given how much Jones is talking, he surely has the blessing of the Packers star to get this messaging out there, even if there are some inconsistencies.  We'll see if this thing gets worked out soon or if it actually does drag into training camp later in the summer.
