Jordan Love was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 2020 NFL Draft, placing a ton of pressure on him to succeed. Despite being taken by a successful organization, Love believes he'd have the same pressure on him regardless of what team he was drafted by.

“No matter where I would have landed, that was the goal for me,” Love said, via NFL Media. “You gotta go out there, prove yourself and make a name for yourself. It’s a job, you gotta be able to keep that. For me, just trying to learn the offense and prove myself.”

Over the course of their team's history, the Packers have won four Super Bowls. Not to mention, Love is going to be the backup to Aaron Rodgers, who has a Super Bowl ring himself.

Seeing that he was taken to be the eventual replacement for Rodgers, Love has some lofty expectations in the NFL. Especially considering that Green Bay actually traded up to select Love instead of giving Rodgers more help in the offense.

Coming out of Utah State, Love received some comparisons to Patrick Mahomes due to his uncanny arm talent. While he has a strong arm, the No. 26 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft could use some work in the other areas of his game.

It's tough to imagine that Love would've faced more pressure if he were to be selected by another team. Nonetheless, the rookie signal-caller understands that he has to drown out the noise and make a name for himself, as he did in college.
