It hasn't been a good season for the Green Bay Packers, but in particular defensive tackle Mike Daniels. It's bad enough that he was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury after only playing 10 games this season. But Daniels wasn't feeling too good after having to sit and watch as the Chicago Bears clinched the NFC North championship with a 24-17 win over Green Bay on Sunday.

This is an unprecedented stretch of misery for the Packers, who have clinched a losing season for the second consecutive season. It's the first time that has happened in Green Bay since 1990-1991, before Brett Favre arrived in the trade with the Atlanta Falcons.

Daniels was drafted by the Packers in 2012 in the fourth round, and he has had a solid seven-year career. Last season marked his first ever Pro Bowl selection, and hopes were high for the 29-year-old heading into 2018. But his season was cut short in Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks when Daniels injured his foot. The Packers lost that game, 27-24, and are just 1-3 since.

The victory for the Bears wrapped up their first division title since 2010, when they lost in the NFC Championship game coincidentally against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Matt Nagy has his team rolling in his first year as head coach, thanks in large part to a creative offense and a suffocating defense led by star defensive end Khalil Mack. The Bears are 10-4, which is the third-best record in the NFC. Chicago still has a shot at a first-round bye in the postseason, but they'll need the Los Angeles Rams to lose at least one more time.
