The Green Bay Packers brought back Randall Cobb at the request of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. While Cobb has had a slow start to the 2021 season, it is always nice to have a familiar face out there and Rodgers must be a little bit happy about the team re-signing the veteran wide receiver.

Cobb spoke about the time he and Rodgers spent together, acknowledging that he stayed at Rodgers' house during the transition, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.

They watched the Olympics, but Rodgers was pesky about the plays, which is certainly no surprise. To Cobb it was a surprise, for some reason.

Fast forward to September and the Packers are 1-1. They lost the first game in an embarrassment against the New Orleans Saints, then responded and took care of business against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football as Rodgers looked stellar.

With Rodgers likely in Green Bay for one final season, they are doing whatever it takes to make a run at a Super Bowl, and perhaps convince Rodgers to stay for another season or two after a wild offseason full of drama, trade rumors, and the like.

But, Rodgers and Cobb are back together in green and yellow, and what a sight it was.
