Surprisingly, the most notable moment of a Formula One race taking place in Miami, Florida, did not involve any of the drivers themselves, but instead, a hilarious mix-up of potential first overall NBA draft pick Paolo Banchero and Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Formula One and Sky Sports racing pundit Martin Brundle confused Banchero with the 2020 Super Bowl MVP during a live interview during Sunday's race.

Brundle does have a history of these bizarre and awkward live television interviews.

During last year's Grand Prix race that took place in Austin, Texas, Brundle attempted to interview rapper Megan Thee Stallion, only to end up almost forcibly removed from the rapper by her security team during the interview.

Paolo Banchero, a 19-year-old forward, led the Duke Blue Devils to the Atlantic Coastal Conference Tournament Championship game as well as the NCAA Final Four in his only season in Durham, and now looks to be the frontrunner with former Gonzaga Bulldog Chet Holmgren for who will be the first overall selection of the 2022 NBA Draft.

Banchero averaged 17 points, seven rebounds, and three assists per game this season on 52/33/72 shooting splits following an extremely successful high school career that saw Banchero win the Washington State Player of the Year, MaxPreps National Junior Player of the Year, and make the roster for both the McDonald's All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic Game.

Banchero also won the ACC Freshman of the Year Award.
