SpyGate 2 is on the minds of many. The New England Patriots' videotaping of the Cincinnati Bengals' in Week 14 has brought cause for concern, even if the videotape did not contain much substance.

One fellow who has not thought about it, however, is the face of the Patriots' organization, Tom Brady. He says it's not something he has let enter his mind

“I’ve put it out of my mind,” Brady said Monday, as transcribed by NESN.com. “I’ve not thought about it since I heard about it. I think a lot of people are making a lot of nothing… We are thinking about other things. We’re trying to focus on winning games. As a player, my job is to go out there and do the best I can do and eliminate as many distractions. A lot of people are trying to make this a distraction for us and we’re not going to allow that to happen.”

Whether Brady thinks about it or not, the NFL has launched an investigation into the matters. After reports of the videotaping, Pats coach Bill Belichick said he did not know about the events. New England said it inadvertently broke the rules while filming a documentary series on advance scouts.

While the matter is serious and will likely end in some sort of penalty, the Patriots have bigger tasks at hand. They must beat the Miami Dolphins on Sunday to secure a first-round bye in the postseason. From there, the Pats' thoughts go to the Super Bowl.
