The Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins and Cleveland Browns are all looking for a piece of the New England Patriots' dynasty. Amid the three teams' coaching searches, Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels stands as a prime candidate, with the Panthers and Browns already asking to interview him.

He, at the moment, has bigger fish to fry. McDaniels' Patriots have a game coming up, as they will host the red-hot Tennessee Titans in the wild card round. That's the only thing on his mind.

“I’m 100 percent fully invested in getting ready for Tennessee and trying to put our best performance of the season out there on Saturday night,” McDaniels said, transcribed by NESN. “We have a lot of work to do. That’s where my focus will be. That’s where it’s at now and it’ll stay there. That’s the best thing for our team. It’s the best thing for me. We’re one of 12 teams that have an opportunity to compete in the postseason. And that’s the only way I’ll ever do it.”

McDaniels' offensive mind is credited with much of the Patriots' success on offense. In 2019, despite lacking star personnel, he made New England's offense more than competent, despite public perception of the inverse being true. If the Patriots want to advance, his mind must be focused on the Titans' defense. That's exactly what it is focused on.

“With all due respect to the question, I’m not even aware of any of that stuff at this point,” McDaniels said. “When that stuff is presented to me or discussed with me or whatever, then we’ll deal with it appropriately.”

For now, Josh McDaniels is the offensive coordinator of one of the greatest dynasties in sports history. Perhaps later, that will change.
