Thelxie's Fantastic Adventures is one of the events added to Genshin Impact on Version 4.2. The event features the diver Freminet in his journey to create Thelxie for his client. In making Thelxie, he will require the Traveler's help with some things. One such thing is Purgation Counterstrike. If you're stuck in the event, don't worry. Here is our guide for Stage 3 of the Purgation Counterstrike event in Genshin Impact.
Purgation Counterstrike Stage 3 Guide – Ode to the Winding Winds
The event ends on December 11, 2023, at 3:59 AM server time. Make sure to finish the event and collect all of the rewards before the event ends.
Purgation Counterstrike Basics
Purgation Counterstrike is the combat event for the ongoing event. Players have to form a group of up to four characters to take down the stage's enemies. The goal is to gather as many points as possible in each stage. Players receive rewards for getting 2,000, 4,000, and 6000 points. Getting 6,000 points or more will also reward the player with every lower-tier reward. As such, the goal in each stage is to get at least 6,000 points. To make it easier to get points, this guide will assume that the player will select the Big Baddie difficulty, which has a Score Multiplier of x4.
Each stage has a special gimmick, which is in the form of Thelxie's “Water Imp's Chanson”. The Water Imp's Chanson is a special attack that the player can use, originating from Thelxie in the middle of the stage. This changes at every stage. Additionally, to help with team creation, each stage has two pre-built Trial Characters that the player can bring along. The player cannot field two of the same character.

Possible Team Composition
This stage's Water Imp's Chanson is a crowd-control-centered one. As such, it's worth it to bring a team that specializes in dealing with clumped groups of enemies. As Neuvillette and Wanderer are both On-FIeld DPS characters, it's better to use one of them as the central focus of the team and build around them.
- Neuvillete Team
- Neuvillete
- Hydro Character (To trigger resonance)
- Xingqiu or Barbara for F2P
- Furina if you have her
- 2 Off-Field characters
- The element of these two off-field characters will depend on what reaction you want to use.
- For Electrocharge, you can bring Shinobu or Fischl for F2P, or Yae Miko or Raiden Shogun if you have them.
- You can also run a Vape team with Xiangling as the center.
- Wanderer Team
- Wanderer
- Anemo Character (To trigger resonance)
- Faruzan or Sucrose work well here for F2p, but you can also bring Kazuha
- 2 Off-Field Characters
- Bring elements you want to Swirl with into this team. It can also help to bring elements that react off of each other
- For Electrocharge, for example, bring a Hydro and an Electro character. Make sure they deal off-field damage of their element. Yelan or Xingqiu works for Hydro, and Fischl, Shinobu, and Yae Miko works for Electro.
