The Las Vegas Raiders signed DE Janarius Robinson to the active roster from the practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.

The former Florida State player was signed to the Raiders practice squad in August. Robinson was called up to the active roster in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs and played three snaps, recording one tackle. It was his first career NFL game.

Robinson was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft and later signed with the Philadelphia Eagles after being waived following his rookie season. Robinson spent some time on the active roster of both teams, but injuries prevented him from seeing playing time. He racked up eight sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss in his four collegiate seasons at Florida State.

The Raiders also signed DE Charles Snowden to the team's practice squad. Snowden was most recently part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad and appeared in two NFL games for the Chicago Bears back in 2021.

The Raiders have seen changes to their defense in the last few days. The team released safety Roderic Teamer last week after he was arrested and charged with a DUI. He was inactive for Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team also released veteran cornerback Marcus Peters after he was benched against Kansas City. The veteran signed with the Raiders after spending the previous few seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. In his stint with Las Vegas, he had 28 tackles and an interception (a pick-six). Peters had been criticized by Raiders fans during the season for giving minimal effort, and it turns out the organization has had enough and has decided to release him and save some money.
